Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Plasterer and stuccadore, of Dublin?, who advertised in Faulkner's Dublin Journal for 16-18 June 1768 that he had worked at Hugh Massy's house in Tipperary. The house was presumably Ballynacourty, near Tipperary. Hugh Massy (1700-1788), created Baron Massy in 1776, had come into possession of this property by his marriage to Mary, the daughter and heir of James Dawson of Ballynacourty.(1)
