Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of Scarborough, Glasgow and London, for whom see A. Stuart Gray, Edwardian Architecture (1985), 314, and Directory of British Architects 1834-1914 (RIBA 2001), II, 513. While he was in partnership with Malcolm Stark in Glasgow during the 1890s, Rowntree was shortlisted in the Belfast City Hall competition of 1896.(1)
