MORELLI, COSIMO #

Architect, of Imola, Italy, who was recruited by Frederick Hervey, Bishop of Derry, to produce a design for a bridge over the River Foyle at Derry. Morelli's designs for a single-span masonry bridge , which appear to bear the date 1776, were in the collection of Ben Weinreb in 1982.(1) Morelli later designed the neo-renaissance Palazzo Braschi in Rome (1780-1804).
