Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

English sculptor and Royal Academician, for whom see www.glasgowsculpture.com. In Ireland Pomeroy designed and, in collaboration with J. EDGAR WINTER EDGAR WINTER , executed the carving in the pediment of Belfast City Hall. He also executed the statues on the memorial to the first Marquess of Dufferin in the grounds of the City Hall, as well as those of Sir James Haslett and Sir Robert McMordie. The First World War memorial in the Diamond at Coleraine (1922) is his work as is also that in Dungannon.
