Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Carpenter and builder, of Dublin, active in the 1830s and 1840s. There may be some confusion in the 1835 and 1836 editions of Wilson's Dublin Directory which, according to Mary Colley's 'List of architects…from Wilson's Dublin Directories'(1) list two Anthony Plants, one at 3 Anderson's Court in 1833-1835 and at 26 Greek Street in 1836, the other at at 16 Little Britain Street in 1835 and 1836. A carpenter named Anthony Plant, of 72 Cork Street, is listed in Pettigrew and Oulton's Dublin Almanack for 1841.
