O'ROURKE, PATRICK GERARD

Structural engineer, of Dublin. Gerry O'Rourke, who received the BE degree from University College, Dublin, in 1922,(1) had a particular interest in reinforced concrete construction. After working for a time with the British Steel Piling Company, he became a founder of the Irish Piling Company. He died in January 1967, having suffered for some time from ill health.
