Surveyor to Ballymena Urban District Council.  According to the 1911 census, Henry O'Hara was born in Co. Antrim in 1860 or 1861. He was town surveyor to Ballymena Urban District Council from 1901 or earlier.   Thom's Official Directory for 1907 names him as holding the three posts of town surveyor, town clerk and secretary to the technical instruction committee, and by 1918 he had added the role of executive sanitary officer to his functions. He continued to hold the four positions until 1922 or later but by 1933 his responsibilities had been reduced to those of town clerk and and sanitary officer only, while the surveyorship had passed to Captain Hugh Simpson. He had died or retired by 1939.   His 1911 census return indicates that he married twice;  at the time of the census he had at least three children from his first marriage but none from the second.
