Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Engineer, active in the 1930s and 1940s. Patrick O'Flaherty studied engineering at University College, Galway, graduating in 1934. He was assistant borough surveyor of Galway for some years and was then apponted engineer to the public health section of Galway County Council. He was working in the building construction section of Bord na Mona when, in 1948, he was appointed engineer in charge of the works department at St Kevin's Institute, Dublin.
