Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect and engineer, of Dublin, active from 1896 or earlier until his death in 1930.(1)    According to the Irish census of 1911, Arthur O'Conor was born in Co. Dublin in 1880 or 1881.  In 1914 he was working as a clerk for JOHN JOSEPH INGLIS  JOHN JOSEPH INGLIS but was frequently absent from the office as he was also appearing as an entertainer under the name of 'Fred Jeffs''.  As a result Inglis witheld his wages, and, O'Conor took him to court.(2)

AAI: elected member 1896; ceased membership 1904 or 1905.(3)
