Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Engineer to the Dublin & Wicklow Manure Co. who designed and supervised the erection of a large store for the company at Anglesea Place, North Strand, completed in February 1912.(1) There are no Northings in the Dublin directories for the period nor in the 1911 census of Dublin;  the name may have been mis-transcribed.

Nature: Concrete building 200 ft long, 46 ft wide and 40 ft high. 15 houses demolished Completed 'witin a short space of time' in Feb 1912. Designed and supervised by Mr Northing, the company's engineer. Contractor: B.W. Whyte, Summerhill. Roof: A. & J. Main & Co., Leinster St.
