Architect?, of Cork. According to the Irish Builder, 'Mr Magahy, architect' designed a new cinema at Merchant's Quay, Cork, in 1912.(1)    'Mr Magahy' can perhapsbe identified as John George Magahy (b. 1881/81), a draughtsman with the civil branch of the Royal Engineers in Cork, who was the eldest son of Thomas Walter Magahy, organ builder, of Cork.   Thomas Magahy's organ factory was in Merchant (Fish) Street, which ran parallel to Merchant's Quay.
