Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, who designed a semi-Gothick semi-Classical lodge for Col. Thomas Cobbe at Newbridge House, Co. Dublin, in 1791.(1) John Bruce was the son of the steward at Newbridge.(2) He may be the person of the same name who was admitted to the Dublin Society's School of Drawing in Architecture on 19 August 1784.(3)
