Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Building contractor, of Bantry, Co. Cork. Denis William Murphy, who was born circa 1799, was a leading figure in the building industry in Co. Cork and the south west of Ireland. He died after a short illness at the age of fifty-four in 1863.(1) He was the father of WILLIAM MARTIN MURPHY. WILLIAM MARTIN MURPHY.
