James Mooney was awarded one of two second-class premiums by the Dublin Society's School of Drawing in Architecture on 5 March 1818.(1) Perhaps the same person as the 'Mr. Jas. Mooney, Hawkins-st.' who was a subscriber to William Stitt's The Practical Architect's Ready Assistant; or Builder's Complete Companion(Dublin, 1819).
