Builder employed on erecting the stables at Baronscourt, Co. Tyrone, for James, eighth Earl of Abercorn, in 1749(1) In a letter of 28 March 1766 the earl's agent, James Hamilton, recommended that the earl should employ Miller to complete the town hall at Strabane.(2) Later, on 28 June 1776, Hamilton sent the earl a sketch of a gate done by Miller's son, noting that the latter had brought him 'a very good certificate from the Bishop of Clogher's overseer'.(3)
