Building contractor, of Dublin, active from the late 1840s until the 1880s. Michael Meade built up his business into a large and successful concern and established sawing, planing and moulding mills in substantial premises on Great Brunswick Street. By 1871(1) he had taken his son JOSEPH MICHAEL MEADE into partnership. He was a JP for Dublin from 1874 or earlier.
