Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Builder, of Ryders' Row, Dublin, listed as such in Wilson's Dublin Directory for the years 1807 to 1831: at No. 2 from 1807 to 1812 and at No. 3 from 1813 to 1831. Peter Lynch was a subscriber to William Stitt's The Practical Architect's Ready Assistant; or Builder's Complete Companion (Dublin, 1819).  According to his fellow tradesmen, writing in 1834, he was a wealthy man, who had been, and still was, in 'extensive' business, employing four men;  his address at this date is given as Spring Garden.(1)   He may be the  Peter Lynch was admitted to the Dublin Society's School of Architectural Drawing on 2 December 1780.(2)
