Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of Carlow, active from the 1820s until the 1840s. Joseph Lynch prepared the original plan for Carlow Cathedral in 1828 but was superseded as architect by THOMAS COBDEN  THOMAS COBDEN in 1829.(1) A drawing of the Provincial Bank of Ireland, Carlow, signed by Joseph Lynch and dated 1846 is in the archives of the Allied Irish Bank.
