Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Engineer and architect, of Kenmare, Co. Kerry. George Lucid, who, according to the 1911 census, was born in Co. Kerry, in 1849 or 1850, (1) was an assistant county surveyor for Co. Kerry from 1900(2) or earlier until 1910(3) or later. He was also engineer and architect to Kenmare Rural District Council from 1907(4) until 1911 or later.(5)  He died at the age of 62 at Blackwater Cottage, Kenmare on 22 February 1912.(6)
