Scottish engineer, for whom see Howard Colvin, A Biographical dictionary of British architects 1600-1840 (4th edn., 2008), 658-9. In the 1820s and 1830s Logan was given responsibility by JOHN RENNIE  JOHN RENNIE for the construction of the harbours at Donaghadee and Ardglass, Co. Down. He is named as a civil engineer in Donaghadee in Pigot & Co.'s City of Dublin and Hibernian Provincial Directory (1824).
