Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

'C.E.' of Belfast, who submitted an entry in the Belfast Municipal Buildings competition of 1869.(1) Cooper served an apprenticeship with Sir JOHN MACNEILL  JOHN MACNEILL and subsequently set up in private practice.

A person of this name was born at Killyree, Dunaghy, Co. Antrim, in 1836.(2)

ICEI: elected associate in 1863 or 1864 but no longer on list of members in 1870.
