Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect 'of some eminence' of Capel Street, Dublin, who, according to an article in the first volume of the Dublin Penny Journal, was the father of the printed calico designer and manufacturer William Kilburn, born in Capel Street on 1 November 1745.(1) In 1738 he had been living in Abbey Street.(2)
