Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Engineer, of Tullamore, Co. Offaly. H.J.B. Kane was secretary to the boards of the Parsonstown, Frankford River, Derrinlough and Boolinarrig drainage districts in Co. Offaly in the 1870s and early 1880s.(1) He can probably be identified as Henry John Bolson Kane, son of John Daniel Kane and his wife Anna, née Bolson, who was born in Dublin circa 1824,(2) admitted to the Royal Dublin Society's School of Drawing in Architecture on 26 January 1843(3) and died on 14 March 1884.(4)
