Architect, of Newry, Co. Down, active in the 1860s, 1870s and 1880s. Richard Hynes designed the Catholic churchas at Mullabane and Bessbrook, Co. Armagh, and Killowen, Co. Down,and was clerk of works for additions to St Patrick's Cathedral, Newry, in 1888.
