Engineer to Athy Board of Guardians in 1897, when he designed a dispensary and medical officer's residence at Castledermot, Co. Kildare, and another at Castletown Geoghegan, Co. Westmeath, for the Mullingar Board of Guardians.(1) Perhaps identifiable as Hugh Stanislaus Hurley, of Rath Hurley, Ballylinan, Athy, who was elected an associate member of the ICEI in 1900. He was still an associate member in 1922, but is no longer listed in 1924.(2)
