Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

'Mr Allen' of Moneymore, Co. Derry, designed a scutching mill there for the Drapers' Company in 1865,(1) and was also one of the contractors for the Rowley vault in the Church of Ireland church at Moneymore the previous year.(2) Both references may be to David Allen, smith, of Moneymore, described by Curl as 'an enterprising manufacturer of agricultural implements',(3) or possibly to JOSEPH ALLEN. JOSEPH ALLEN.
