Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Engineer. Greene, who was born circa 1846, received the BA degree and Licence in Civil Engineering from Trinity College, Dublin, in 1869.(1) After spending a year with the Great Southern & Western Railway, he was appointed borough engineer for Drogheda in 1871.(2) He was still in the post in 1887(3) but had been succeeded by NICHOLAS HATCH  NICHOLAS HATCH by 1900.
