Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Civil engineer, of  Co. Down, active from the 1880s until 1922 or later.   David Gracey , who was born in Co. Armagh circa 1865,(1) was an assistant county surveyor for Co. Down from 1900 or earlier unitl 1922 or later.  At the time of the 1911 census he was living at 39 Main Street, Newcastle, Co. Down, with his wife, Harriet, and two small daughters.

Association of Municipal & County Engineers: admitted member, 1 October 1921.(2)
