Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Measurer, of Dublin, listed in Wilson's Dublin Directory at various addresses (see below) from the 1770s until the 1790s. Confusingly another Thomas Gorman, described first as 'grocer, house measurer' and then as 'haberdasher,house measurer' listed at 65 Fleet Street in Wilson's Dublin Directory for the years 1788-1797. A Thomas Gorman was admitted a freeman of the City of Dublin as a member of the Guild of Carpenters and as the eldest surviving son of a freeman at Michaelmas 1774.(1)

Addresses: 9 Prices Lane, 1776-81; Camden Street, 1782-83; 13 Charlotte Street, 1784-86; 18 Charlotte Street, 1787-90; 56 Charlemont Street, 1791-95.
