Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Patrick Ganley was admitted to the Royal Dublin Society's School of Architectural Drawing on 30 June 1825 and won one of the six premiums awarded on 8 December in the same year.(1) He may be the same person as Patrick Ganly, son of Patrick Ganly 'architectus', who was admitted to Trinity College Dublin on 15 October 1841 at the mature age of thirty-two and graduated in 1849. This Patrick Ganly was a Roman Catholic and was born in Dublin.(2)
