Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Engineer, of Dublin. Thomas Fitzgerald was a pupil in the office of Maurice Colles before setting up in independent practice circa 1853.(1) In Thom's Directory for 1863 he describes himself as 'surveyor, valuator, and drainage engineer', later as 'surveyor valuator and civil engineer'. He has disappeared from the directories by 1896.
