Architect, of London, for biography of whom see A. Stuart Gray, Edwardian Architecture (1985), 176, and Directory of British Architects 1834-1914 (RIBA 2001), I, 633. Horace Farquharson's only recorded work in Ireland is at Castle Martyr, Cork, where he carried out 'a thorough renovation, including a new roof and cornice carried right round the building, as well as the pediment and new entrance'.(1)
