Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Family of monumental masons, of Ardnaglass, Skreen, Co. Sligo, active in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. They produced distinctively decorated box tombs in the locality. Most of the monuments in the churchyard of Skreen Church of Ireland church are by members of the family,(1) and six tombs in the graveyard at Emlaghfad, Co. Sligo, have been attributed to Frank Diamond.(2)
