Engineer, of Tatestown, Navan, Co. Meath. Robert Stephenson Barnes was a nephew and pupil of the railway engineer George Robert Stephenson (1819-1905). From 1879 onwards he was in private practice in Co. Meath. He was the father of ROBERT STEPHENSON BARNES [2].  ROBERT STEPHENSON BARNES [2].
