Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Surveyor, of Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, and Dublin. Dominick Brunicardi, a son of SEBASTIAN ANGELO BRUNICARDI  SEBASTIAN ANGELO BRUNICARDI and his wife Maria née Hogg, was born in Clonmel on 20 November 1875.(1) He was responsible for the design of working-class housing in Clonmel in 1900.(2)  By 1911 he had become a valuer for the General Valuation Office in Dublin.  During the First World War he enlisted in the army, attaining the rank of major and gaining a Military Cross. After the war he returned to his post in the General Valuation Office, which he held until 1938..(3)

Surveyors' Institution: fellow by 1922.
