Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Builder and slater of Dominick Street, Dublin. Thomas Chandler is listed with an address at 27 Lower Dominick Street in Wilson's Dublin Directory for 1830-1837 and the Post Office Dublin Directory for 1839. By the time of the publication of Pettigrew & Oulton's Dublin Almanac for 1841, he had taken a son into partnership and had a second establishment at York St, Dun Laoghaire,(1) but in the edition for 1847 only one address, 29 Lower Dominick Street, is given.
