English engineer and architect of London, for whom see Directory of British Architects 1834-1914 (RIBA 2001), I, 426. Conybeare, who exhibited at the Royal Academy, 1856-1873, was engineer to the West Cork Railway and the Cork & Kinsale Railway in the 1860s. He designed the railway hotel at Kinsale, co. Cork, in 1860.(1)
