Date: 1864-65
Nature: New mill. First sod cut, 24 May 1864.  Inaugurated by Lord Lieutenant, 4 May 1865. Buildings include weaving shed, yarn store, engine houses &c. Cost £6,000. Built by Benjamin Whitworth, Manchester, a native of Drogheda.
